Mehmet Karanfiloğlu, who graduated from Ege University with a degree in Public Relations and Publicity, also completed his master's and Ph.D. at the same institution. He studied International Communication and Media at Hogeschool Utrecht in the Netherlands. His master's thesis focused on the impact of public relations on financial performance, and his doctoral thesis examined the relationship between Industry 4.0 and corporate communication. With professional experience in CRM in both the USA and Turkey, Karanfiloğlu has taught English and worked as a marketing expert. He started his academic career at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University as a Research Assistant. Later, he joined Ibn Haldun University as a faculty member, where he became an Associate Professor in July 2023. Previously holding positions such as Vice Dean and Director of the Career Center, Karanfiloğlu currently chairs the Department of New Media and Communication, and heads the Graduate and Doctoral programs in his field.
